Consider this as an antique gem. Classic style wooden interior cozy rooms. Very close to Gondola ride. And welcoming staff. Lovely food. Awsworth view. Arsheed from front desk welcomed us with big smile and was helpful. Mr. Irshad from F &B treated us like family and overall experience was very good. Even the ground staff was well behaved.

The booking experience was quite smooth but it did take some time to check in, probably because of lot of people checking in/ out at the same time. The room was big, clean and comfortable; the best part was the bed which had inbuilt heating coils which helped us immensely as we were there in December when it was snowing outside, but at the same time the room being quite big it was not getting uniformly heated. The usp of this hotel is the food, be it breakfast, lunch or dinner, the spread and the quality of the buffet was just amazing. During check out even after multiple calls when nobody arrived to carry the luggage we left ourselves and on the way realised our bottles were still at the hotel kitchen for filling. Quite a few hiccups which the management should look into still it is a very good hotel.

We visited Gulmarg in May 2nd week. Booked this hotel through Make My Trip. Hotel is situated very close to gulmarg Gandola-easily walkable distance of 7-8minute. Check in was fast, rooms are spacious. We had buffet dinner for 2 days , and food taste was very good . There breakfast was also good with decent selection of dishes . Their staff was also helpful, specially Mr.Mansoor. This is a slightly old property, but is in good condition. Over all ,had good experience

The property is in a beautiful location next to a golf course. There are some fabulous views from the hotel itself. The staff were courteous and helpful through out our visit. Mr Manzoor and Mr Janmeet took care of us during our meals at the hotel. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend the Grand Mumtaz.
